Description
CYT’s Level 1 Voice Foundations provides young singers with a solid vocal baseline, building confidence and healthy technique in an encouraging, low-pressure environment. Tailored for beginner vocalists, this course introduces essential vocal mechanics, including proper breath support, posture, tone production, and pitch accuracy. Students learn fundamental music literacy—such as reading basic rhythm and melody—while exploring a variety of musical genres through solo and ensemble singing. Guided by CYT’s supportive values, the class emphasizes vocal health, articulation, and expressive performance, equipping young performers with the foundational vocal control and confidence necessary for musical theatre, auditions, and group performance.
