Teacher:

Wallace Rakoczy

Wallace Rakoczy is delighted to join the YCT team this August! She found her home in theatre as a child and is ecstatic to contribute the skills she’s gained throughout the years to young artists. Shreveport audiences may have recently seen her as Esmeralda in Emmett Hook’s Production of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” Wallace received her conservatory training at Collaborative Arts Project 21 in NYC (previously affiliated with NYU) after studying at Viterbo University in Wisconsin for Musical Theatre. Stanislavski said it best “The person you are is a thousand times more interesting than the best actor you could ever hope to be." Wallace deeply believes that we can meet ourselves and our community through storytelling. Creating a safe space of collaboration for children will always be intertwined with her artistry, faith, and passion.
